Unique Purpose Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting HIV
awareness, education, and support. Our mission is to create a world where individuals living with HIV/AIDS receive the care, support, and resources they need to thrive, regardless of their status. We believe in fostering a culture of acceptance, reducing stigma, and empowering those living with HIV to live their most for fulling lives.
Through education, outreach, and support, we aim to reduce HIV transmission, increase
HIV testing and early detection and connect individuals to vital resources. We envision a
future where individuals living with HIV/AIDS are supported, loved, and free from
discrimination.
Our Mission
Empower through education:
We provide HIV awareness, prevention, and self-empowerment programs to vulnerable youth and communities, helping them make informed decisions about their health.
Support individuals living with HIV/AIDS:
Through our support groups and empowerment circles, we provide spaces where individuals can connect, share their experiences and grow.
Promote inclusivity and eliminate stigma:
We advocate for a world free from HIV related stigma, where all individuals, regardless of HIV status, can thrive.
Provide resources and care linkage:
We connect individuals with necessary healthcare services, resources, and support to help them navigate their HIV
journey.

About The CEO/Founder
Chatrivia Kennedy
She is a dedicated community advocate and healthcare professional passionate about promoting awareness and education on HIV/AIDS, mental health, and overall wellness. With years of experience in the healthcare industry, Chatrivia has worked tirelessly to provide support and resources to marginalized communities, particularly in the Chicagoland area.
Personally, Chatrivia has been living with HIV for the past 20 years, and her lived experience informs and fuels her advocacy work. In 2019, she courageously went public with her HIV status on Facebook, using her platform to raise awareness and reduce stigma around HIV.
Chatrivia utilizes her social media platforms to educate her followers about HIV awareness and prevention, emphasizing the importance of regular testing and early detection. She believes that education and awareness are key to combating the stigma and misinformation surrounding HIV.
As the organizer of various community events, including free HIV testing and vaccination drives, Chatrivia has demonstrated her commitment to breaking down stigmas and promoting inclusivity. Her work has made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals, providing them with the knowledge, tools, and support necessary to thrive.
Through her advocacy and community outreach efforts, Chatrivia Kennedy continues to inspire and empower others to prioritize their health, well-being, and dignity.
